Notes:  Egg shape rose bowl sometime known as a pouch vase.  This example is has a gloss finish.  They are most often found in satin glass finish. 

Color of Bowl: White interior, blue exterior transitioning (Light blue on the bottom to darker Blue on the top crimp area). 

Glass Type:  Cased Satin Glass rose bowl, two layers White interior with gloss Blue colored cased exterior.    

Bowl:  Egg shaped rose bowl with 8 small inward crimps on rim, flat to ground concaved bottom with semi ground puntil with convex interior of bowl.       

Decoration:  None    

Dimension: 5.75” height by 5.20” wide at widest point.  Bowl opening 2.0”   

Glass House:  attributed to Mt. Washington

Region of Manufacture:  USA 

Estimated Date of Manufacture:  Victorian period

 Condition:  Excellent  

Overall opinion:  Nice example of a Victorian period egg shaped rose bowl.
